Sydney, Australia | Sports Flick are proud to announce a partnership with the North American Rugby League (NARL) as the global broadcast platform partner.

Sports Flick will broadcast all matches from the NARL competition globally, providing Rugby League fans around the world with the opportunity to watch the next evolutionary step in Rugby League competition around the world.

The new NARL competition will feature 14 teams from across the United States and Canada, and with current COVID-19 restrictions, the competition will take place in Brooklyn and Las Vegas.

The fixtures for the 2021 competition will be a ‘festival style’, with matches being played all on one day in line with current restrictions, but providing Rugby League fans globally with great Rugby League to view back to back.

“I’m delighted to introduce the North America Rugby League to rugby league rans around the world in what we firmly believe is the next big evolutionary step for Rugby League,” said NARL’s Chief Operating Officer Robert Curtis.

“Our sole aim is to grow the fantastic sport of Rugby League in North America and create a legacy for generations to come”.

The East Coast conference will comprise of the Atlanta Rhinos, Boston Thirteens, Brooklyn Kings, Cleveland Rugby League, New York Rugby League and Washington Cavalry. The West Coast Conference will be made up of the Austin Armadillos, Las Vegas Blackjacks, Phoenix Venom, Portland Loggers, San Diego Swell, and San Francisco Rush.

A Canadian Cup will be played between the Toronto Wolfpack and Ottawa Aces before both teams enter the East Coast Conference in 2022.

Sports Flick will announce subscription packages along with promotions in the coming weeks, along with promotional material, and information about each team competing in this historic competition.
